Click on the link above to download the renewal application form and instructions. Certifications are due for renewals every three years. Return your renewal application with the supporting documents of continuing education (read the Certification Handbook) and the $95 payment with the application. Make checks payable to National Council on Laser Certification. -- or if you wish to pay by credit card you can use the link below.
Once you've completed the renewal application, you can pay the fee online by
CLICKING ON THE "PAYMENT" LINK.

"GRACE PERIOD" FOR LAPSED CERTIFICATIONS:
Certifications must be renewed every three years from the issue date printed on the Certificate. More recently issued Certificates will have all of the renewals due by the end of March, 3+ years from date of issuance. If an individual misses their renewal date, they will have a 1 year grace period to renew without retaking the Certification examination. If their Certificate is expired but they renew within the 1 year grace period, the fee will be $95 for the renewal and a $50 late fee. If they exceed the 1 year grace period then they must reapply and retake the written examination at the regular fee of $295. The NCLC will provide the online practice exam at no charge.


NOTES ON UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION:

When you complete a renewal application we'll use that information to update your records. Please keep your email address current for notices. In the Laser Registry listed below it also has a place to enter a backup email address. If you edit your info on that site please provide that backup email.

If you hold a current and active NCLC Laser Certification you will be automatically listed in the International Laser Certification Registry
TM at https://LaserRegistry.org. You may log in as a member to edit your info such as adding a photo, short bio, or choosing how much contact information the public and health authorities may see. You will not be able to alter your certification nor origin or expiration dates. The member login link is at the top right of that home page. If you need a username and password to log in just email us. This Laser Registry also lists individuals who hold Laser Certifications from other credible certification agencies, but those are not automatically listed. You must submit your application to be listed if it is not with the NCLC.
