Exam Locations - USA & International
NEW! ONLINE SECURE TESTING AVAILABLE FROM YOUR OWN COMPUTER!
Spurred on by COVID travel restrictions in 2020, ETA has now partnered with another organization to offer secure, monitored, online Certification Examinations. These must be scheduled just as you would with an in-person proctor, so submit your application to the NCLC for approval, and once approved you may then contact ETA and request the secure online testing. This is available from any location in the world with a reliable internet connection, and a web camera and microphone on your computer. You can now test from any location in the world with this capability. The savings in time and money for travel is significant, so that should no longer keep you from seeking your NCLC Laser Certification.

You may also take an examination at any of the training courses offered by the Laser Training Institute of Professional Medical Education if you take the course, OR without having to attend the actual course if you otherwise qualify and just pre-apply for testing. You may also test with our affiliates, or scheduled examinations onsite at your facility. Associates don't administer the exam but will help coordinate those for their students. See the affiliates and onsite exams tabs in the left side bar, and call to confirm that you may complete the application at the time of the course.
You may also apply for and take examinations without attending any of these courses if you otherwise qualify. Please refer to the Certification Handbook. If you are applying for an exam separate from a regular training course they will be scheduled through ETA International at any of over 755 locations. You may search locations by clicking the link below, but don't contact them directly. AFTER you've received authorization from the NCLC then you may contact ETA's main office (not the individual proctor) at 800-288-3824 (ask for Lynda Shute), who will then notify your desired proctor and provide the correct exam to them.
You may also schedule testing at the office of the National Council on Laser Certification at the Columbus Ohio (Grove City) location. (See Contact Info at left)
